Meet the Morrisons

Shawn Morrison Jr.

The Eldest Morrison Sibling, Graduate of Nyack College

Shawn played basketball throughout high school and continued his athletic career at Nyack College. The work ethic and discipline he developed through sports have shaped him into a hands-on General Manager who leads his location with structure, accountability, and strong leadership. He is instrumental in supporting staff at every level, ensuring team needs are met so operations run efficiently and effectively.

Upon graduation, Shawn took over the flagship Nana Morrison's location at 2908 Oak Lake Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28208. As the first of his siblings to step into restaurant leadership as General Manager, Shawn helped set the standard for future growth. He focuses on staffing, quality control, inventory management, and operational innovation to ensure new locations are positioned for profitability and long-term success.

Shawn has continued to grow sales year after year at his location and looks forward to future expansions that will further his family's vision while building his own legacy of growth and leadership. He has also implemented valuable insights in social media and marketing strategies, helping identify target markets and support continued business growth.

Hank Morrison

Hank Morrison currently operates his own Charlotte location as General Manager and has also stepped into the role of company spokesperson, spearheading the brand's media presence through interviews and hands-on efforts to expand into new markets.

Hank Morrison serves as both a General Manager and the public voice of the Nana's brand. While successfully running his own location, he represents the company across television, radio, and social media, strengthening its visibility and deepening its connection with the community. He also helps guide charitable initiatives and plays a key role in shaping how the brand is represented publicly.

Focused on expansion and long-term growth, Hank continues to move Nana's forward with energy, professionalism, and a strong commitment to its future.

Gabriella Morrison

Gabriella Morrison is a powerhouse leader who grew up in the family business, mastering both front- and back-of-house operations from an early age. With a natural talent for numbers, she began handling payroll at just 13 years old—an early sign of the operational excellence she would later bring to the company.

Now serving as Chief Operating Officer, Gabriella oversees management across all locations, leads day-to-day billing and customer service operations, and is actively involved in learning the build-out processes for new stores. Her organizational strength and back-office expertise have enabled her to streamline payroll efficiencies and contribute to the company's long-term marketing and growth strategy.

At 16, her drive and proficiency became impossible to overlook. After doubling up on school courses to graduate early, she stepped into the role of General Manager for the company's second location, which opened in 2023 at 3824 Corning Place in Charlotte, NC—making her the youngest Morrison to run her own store.

She is committed to maximizing the success of all locations, while playing a key role in the development and expansion of future sites.

Aaron Morrison

The Youngest Morrison Sibling, Aaron is currently still in school. He is an avid golfer both in school and outside of it. Aaron supports operations by working between all locations, assisting his sister and brothers with staffing as needed.

In addition to golf, Aaron has a strong passion for cooking and has expressed interest in creating new Nana's menu items in the future. He looks forward to one day running his own location and continuing the family tradition.

Having accompanied his parents to work since the age of five, Aaron has been immersed in the business from the ground up. He has developed a keen attention to detail and gained valuable hands-on experience through trial and error as he continues to grow within the organization.

Each sibling shares in the family's vision of success and is eager to support future expansions with equal commitment. Together, they remain focused on continuously improving quality, customer service, and brand recognition.
