I ordered the fried chicken with black-eyed peas and rice, and my husband had the fried pork chop, yams, and collard greens. For dessert, we shared the pineapple coconut cake. I have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the food, which is why this visit was disappointing. I'm not sure if there was a different cook this time, but several dishes were not up to the usual standard. The collard greens were tough, the black-eyed peas lacked flavor, and the pineapple coconut cake was dry. The fried pork chop and chicken wings were also not as good as they have been on previous visits. I hope this was just an off day, as I've had many positive experiences here in the past and would like to see the quality return to what I've come to expect.

Had lunch around 11:30 here for the first time 8-18-26. Off the bat the customer service was impressive!! And the food was even better. Twice i had guys ask me hows the food and asked if i needed anything. Must try and i will be back.

I ordered six pieces of the baked barbecue chicken (white) and the family absolutely loved it. Whether you take out or dine in, you cant go wrong eating the delicious food from Nana Morrison's Soul Food.

OMG!!! Dawn was amazing. It was another staff who helped her, I can't remember her name. They were so helpful and nice. We drove an hour to come to this location and I must say from the time we walked in the door it was well worth it. Definitely coming back. The food, the service, everything was spot on. If you are looking for some REAL soul food this is the place to go.
